  • Bring with you any ideas for discussion. This will be a great time for input on what each person would like to get out of the meetings. We are still a young chapter and I believe in the colabrative process for guiding the chapter.
  • Also need to name a new Vice President of the chapter due to the current one needing to bow out of inspections for a while. I would love to here from all of you on this. The responsibility is small. Mainly a position of helping plan meetings and some overall strategic planning to take the chapter to the next level.
  • Meetings will be held the last Tuesday of every month at AJ's on East Court Ave. in Des Moines. Would be nice to have all inspectors be able to make it out at some point for meet and greet, general discussions, and specific training sessions.
  • We will still plan periodic meetings at different points around the state to allow some of our home inspection brothers and sisters in the far reaches of the state to benefit from the Iowa chapter meetings.
  • There is no fee for the monthly meetings on a whole. Only fees will be when there is a specific training event where compensation to the speaker would be necessary.
